Which money-making program would you choose.  I came across Russ Dalbey’s opportunity called, “Winning In The Cash Flow Business” and it sounds pretty interesting.  In a nutshell, you find privately held notes or mortgages, then negotiate a price for that note, then sell that note to a buyer and make a finder’s fee which could […]

Note: This post is not about Don Lapre.

Tip #1 is not to put ads on empty pages.  Sounds funny at first, but sometimes people build a website in stages and they might have a bunch of empty pages with meta data, etc., but no content at first.  If you have your adsense code in there, the ads will be public service ads, and then when you finally change your webpage, Google may take up to 2-3 weeks before the changes are reflected in their index.  All that time only public service ads will display which don’t earn any money for click thru’s.  So, it’s better to have at least some relevant text on your pages before adding adsense.

Tip #2 is to check your keyword density.  … (Read more…)

Podpress is a relatively new plugin for wordpress that is perfect for podcasters.  It’s a full-blown plugin that supports podcasting with a really nice set of features.  With things like automatic feed generation, a preview of what your podcast will look like on itunes and even download stats with neat looking graphs, it sounds like the latest greatest toy I just gotta have.  It supports an unlimited number of media files, various formats including video podcasting, and it controls where the player will display within your blog post and what it will look like.  Cool huh?

Many of us are constantly looking for ways to supplement our income so we can pay off some bills, go on vacation or just have a little extra cash on hand. Here is an easy way to get what amounts to a free tank of gas each month for almost no work. You may have heard about the companies that supposedly pay you to put ads on your vehicle. Sometimes known as car wraps, these can be very hard to get a contract for. But I found a smaller company that pays you $50 - $70 per month to simply place a magnetic sign on your vehicle that advertises a specific company. It’s called www.trafficlogos.com You need to drive … (Read more…)

You may already know about this position, but I stumbled upon it recently.  Are you an expert in your field?  The website www.about.com is looking for “guides.”  A guide keeps their own little mini site about whatever the topic is, such as surfing, or interior decorating.  If you qualify and pass their initial probation period you could be earning around $700/ month or more depending on how much traffic you bring to your pages.  I think it’s kind of interesting.

This couple claims to have made many millions of dollars on the internet using paid traffic techniques.  Now they are teaching others to do the same with their “Traffic Tactics” seminar.  I read that people have paid $25,000 to get personal coaching from them.  That’s right, three zeros.  Are they for real.   I gotta wonder if their past success is real or made up to attract people to pay such a high price.  Or maybe I’m just in the wrong business.

This whole rss thing is pretty amazing when you think about it.  If you’re like me and you’re trying to get the word out,  being able to syndicate your own little blog all across the world wide web is awesome.  Of course wading through the list of the many versions of rss plugins that you think will make the process simple can be less than fun.  I thought that rss stands for ‘real simple syndication’ but I could be wrong.  Oh well, eventually you will find one that works perfectly for you.

All in all, I really enjoy using wordpress especially for its inherent search engine optimization, and usability.  I haven’t come across another platform that offers everything that wordpress does.  Although I’m sure someone out … (Read more…)

Hey folks, here’s something beyond Don Lapre.  Check out www.onlyreviews.com   Although they do have reviews on the Don Lapre opportunity, they also have others like Russ Dalby, Robert Allen, Joe Vitale, Rosalind Gardner and a lot more.  I just thought it was kind of interesting.

Who is Don Lapre?  Don Lapre grew up in Massachusetts with 2 brothers and 2 sisters then moved to Arizona about 35 years ago.  He had humble beginnings and worked many odd jobs just to make ends meet while growing up.  Today, he is a successful entrepreneur and family man raising 2 daughters with his wife.

Don Lapre has been known as the “King of infomercials” from having different business opportunities and products being offered through television infomercials for over 10 years.  Apparently he had filed for bankruptcy in 1999 and someone bought his company from him.  There are reports that the new owner who was using Don’s name and infomercials to sell products was not keeping ethical business practices.  This in turn created a lot … (Read more…)

Are there any other people out there who are Independent Advertisers for The Greatest Vitamin in the World? I have been with the program for 3 months and I only have 7 vitamin clients! I don’t think I will ever get my first check. Have I been scammed? I used to think that Don Lapre was a mastermind entrepreneur who had developed the perfect recipe for success. Now, I’m not so sure.
